What it does
Procore centers on a single project record everyone on the job can see at the same permission level they're supposed to have: the superintendent in the field, the project manager in the office, and the owner checking progress remotely are all looking at the same live drawings, the same RFI log, and the same budget, instead of whoever has the latest version emailed to them. When a superintendent logs a daily report from a tablet on-site, or a subcontractor uploads a photo of a completed inspection, that update is immediately visible to everyone else with access, which is the specific problem it's built to solve: construction projects generate huge amounts of paperwork (RFIs, submittals, change orders, inspection reports) across dozens of people, and most disputes and delays trace back to someone not seeing the right version of something at the right time.
